You will be responsible for delivering campaigns for large scale shopping moments, including events like Prime Day and Black Friday, and creating activity that demonstrates the value customers get while shopping with Amazon. The role will report to the Head of Consumer Communications UK.

Key job responsibilities
- Develop and manage integrated PR campaigns around key retail moments
- Deliver campaigns and launches around shopping innovations
- Write campaign plans, messaging, and media-facing materials
- Build relationships with key media outlets and secure coverage
- Provide counsel to internal executives on PR challenges and opportunities
- Collaborate with agencies and international teams to implement PR activity
- Work with internal teams across the business to deliver projects on time
- Manage complex PR challenges from both the business and the media
- Support issues management related to the UK retail business
- Media expertise: Understanding of the media landscape, including social media
- Strategic thinking: Align PR activity with business objectives and key messages
- Collaboration: Work effectively in a team environment
- Action-oriented: Strong bias for action while maintaining high standards
- Proactivity: Take initiative to drive projects forward
- Leadership: Guide agencies and demonstrate PR value to senior managers
- Adaptability: Thrive in a dynamic corporate environment
- Decision-making: Advise on appropriate actions and manage media inquiries
- Experience in a communications role either within a PR Agency or in-house
- Demonstrated success in planning and executing PR campaigns
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven track record that that demonstrates comfort in dealing with high-level media contacts across news, lifestyle, and broadcast sectors
- Retail experience, with knowledge of the UK retail market
- Experience with social media and influencer partnerships
- Experience managing complex communications programs
