  • Impact-driven investment firm that acquires profitable, high-quality software companies

  • Optimization and scaling of acquired software companies

  • Founders are values-driven and seasoned investors/operators with backgrounds covering J.P. Morgan, Rocket Internet, VC, PE, Harvard, Wharton, etc.


Tasks

  • Sourcing and originating deals with high quality boot-strapped and VC-backed software companies

  • Assist in conducting due diligence on potential acquisition targets

  • Support the M&A team in financial analysis and valuation of target companies

  • Prepare presentations and reports for internal stakeholders and potential investors

  • Participate in negotiations with target companies and help in deal structuring

  • Assist in post-merger integration activities to ensure successful acquisition transitions


Requirements

YOUR PROFILE

We are seeking a self-motivated individual, early in their career, who consistently over-delivers and exhibits proactive problem-solving skills. This role is an exciting opportunity to apply your M&A expertise in a new, impact-focused setting, as part of a serial acquirer specializing in software companies.

Candidates should be available to work at least 20 hours per week, with full-time commitment preferred, for a minimum duration of six months.



  • High fluency in German is required (Native preferred)

  • Experience in M&A is preferred but not required, especially in sectors such as private equity, serial acquisitions, and roll-ups, with a primary focus on deal execution

  • Familiarity with deal origination is also advantageous but not required

  • Experience in software serial acquirers like Constellation (e.g., TSS, Volaris), Visma, Valsoft, Banyan, Vitec, Asseco, etc. is a strong plus

  • Focus on DACH (i.e., Germany, Austria, Switzerland) is a strong plus

  • Passion for private equity and M&A is required

  • Strong analytical, research, and business development skills with a hands-on mentality

  • High fluency in Microsoft Office and Excel

  • Deep interest/background in software companies is a plus

  • Experience conducting outreach campaigns via HubSpot, LinkedIn, email, phone etc. is a plus

  • Ability to thrive independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

  • Positive, structured, and driven

  • Studied/studying at a top-tier university

  • Based in London preferred, but remote work with regular frequency of visits to London is possible
