MISSION





Drunk Elephant has an opportunity for a UKI Marketing Coordinator to join our growing team. As Marketing Coordinator, you will help the development of the brand and implement the marketing strategy and product launch calendar within the retail distribution. The role will simultaneously develop your skillset in Brand, Communications, Campaign Planning and Sales. This position requires grit, passion, very strong organization skills and a love for skincare.

Our first strength is Make-up, led by NARS, UK’s Nr4 color brand with incredible success globally and that gained 4 rankings in the last 2 years thanks to its unique tone of voice and exceptional complexion and lip products.





Skincare is a key priority for expansion, with 5 very diverse and complementary brands covering the full scope of consumers needs and profiles. From brand Shiseido that is recognized for its uncompromising quality and showing huge growth potential in UK&I, to already iconic Drunk Elephant over 80%% growth this year, about to enter Top10 Skincare) with its most sought-after formulations and Skin Smoothies, or the spectacular Clé de Peau Beauté that embodies the ultimate of stem-cell technology to the service of radiance. In 2023, we launched ULÉ a newly created Skin-Tech brand with breakthrough credentials around Sustainability and botanical performance, as well as expanding Gallinée, our most recent acquisition from 2022 specialized around skin microbiome with unique patents.

ORGANISATION



  • Reports to: Marketing Manager with dotted line to Assistant Brand Manager

  • Job Location: London

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES


Operations Champion





You will be on the frontline offering guidance on the ‘nuts and bolts’ of our brand so will be prepared to secure the latest intel across the business and support the day-to-day running of the brand.



  • Lead logistics of campaign planning; raise orders, send products, diligently keeping up to date with order status to ensure smooth delivery.

  • Manage Purchase Orders, liaising with the Finance team to process payment of invoices.

  • Support all budget, POSM etc. tracker maintenance.

  • Be the guardian of structured folder management and tidy submission of briefs across all functions of the business.





Brand



  • Core Documents: Own the maintenance of the marketing calendar, masterplan and core the operational documents.

  • Samples: Compile, track and report on sample animations, ensuring the calendar is up to date and timely delivery to retailers

  • Forecasting: support the process not limited but inclusive of competitor analysis via NPD or across the market, organization and implementation of submission documents.

  • Reporting: Compile monthly analysis of Drunk Elephant launches, competitor performance as well as any insight that EMEA require for wider strategy.

  • VM Support: Liaise with the team on specific global tools to support UK calendar. Aid any POSM roll-outs into retailer doors alongside any trade animations.

  • Digital Support: On integrated projects where necessary.

  • PR Support: On operational planning and NPD send-outs where necessary.

  • Support Marketing Manager and Assistant Brand Manager (and occasionally Marketing Director) with ad hoc projects

  • Be the brand guardian on all day-to-day developments of the brand

  • Events: Support the team with the planning and execution of brand events inclusive of attendance where needed





Trade



  • Work with sales to update joint business plans aligned to UK strategy.

  • Communicate regular updates of on new launches, discons and core with Marketing Manager.

  • Own all brand information on trade documents and sales plans.

  • Administrational ownership of retail incentives such as ‘Edit Boxes’, inclusive of liaising with the warehouse on set creation, briefing the artwork into a local print supplier and ensuring stock is allocated and delivered in a timely manner

  • Manage any brand animation tools required for trade plans.

  • Support Education team on customer events to recruit new and drive loyalty whilst enhancing our brand image.

  • Support new store launches and local marketing plans inclusive of testers and marketing collateral when necessary, manage local printing of all marketing collateral.






PROFILE



  • Strong skills in Powerpoint and Excel is essential.

  • An initial understanding of owned and paid digital.

  • Great attention to detail when reviewing copy, assets, plans etc.

  • Ability to copy writing.

  • A good communicator internally and with external counterparts.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task.

  • Excellent time-management, understanding of deadlines.

  • Can-do attitude with a hands on approach.

  • A strong interest and passion for the beauty industry is a must!

  • Experience in an office environment for a minimum of 2 years outside of an internship.

  • Education to degree level is desirable but not necessary.

  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
