Job Title: Twilight Registered Veterinary Nurse (Wards/ICU Based)

Job Type: Permanent

Hours: 5 x 8 hour days Monday-Friday, 4pm-12am. 1 in 8 weekends with days off the following week.

Eastcott Veterinary Referrals is an innovative, tier 3 multi-disciplinary referral and primary care hospital located just off the M4 in Swindon, Wiltshire. We are a gold standard cat friendly practice, passionate about providing exceptional patient care. We see cases from a variety of disciplines including cardiology, orthopaedics, soft tissue, neurology, dentistry, ophthalmology, diagnostic imaging, ECC and primary care.

Your Role And Responsibilities

Following significant expansion of our referral teams, we have an exciting opportunity here at Eastcott Referrals for a qualified RVN to join the wards team as a Twilight Nurse. Working as part of the referral wards team, you will work closely with the nurses, ECC manager, other service clinicians, and leadership team, to deliver you optimum patient care and achieve the hospital’s goals.

You will nurse patients from a range of referral disciplines including internal medicine, neurology, soft tissue, orthopaedics, cardiology, dentistry, ophthalmology, as well as patients from our out of hours and primary care services. You will be responsible for supporting the evenings/nights, and striving to improve patient care and efficiency within the department. Previous experience of working within a busy referral setting and out of hours work is desired but not essential. Full training and support will be provided.
