Technical Sales Engineer – Export

Burnley, Lancashire (office-based with regular travel – at least 60% of your time will be office-based)

We are now looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join us on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role


As a Technical Sales Engineer (Export), you will drive sales growth of our water quality analysers across export markets.


Focusing on building relationships with existing distributors and Private Labellers and securing new relationships, you will represent our brand across multiple countries, managing the full sales cycle from initial contact to handover with our Project Delivery Team.


Additionally, you will:


- Develop and mentor junior staff members

- Ensure the technical accuracy of proposals and tenders

- Provide feedback to the Product Development Team on customer needs and market trends

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless project delivery

- Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor activities


About You


To be considered as a Technical Sales Engineer, you will need:


- Proven experience in a technical sales role

- Experience in business development and securing new business

- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills

- The ability to travel overseas

- A valid driving licence
