Position: Ad-Hoc Teaching Assistant (Supply Cover)
Location: Southampton
Hours: Flexible, typically 08:30 - 15:30 (varies by school)
Pay: £12.90 per hour (Term time only)

At Teaching Personnel, we partner with fantastic schools that support students with SEN/SEMH. Our learners have diverse needs, including Autism, ADHD, and Down Syndrome, and may require special care like feeding tubes or wheelchair assistance.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.

- Provide support in various classrooms as needed, covering for staff absences.
- Create a welcoming learning environment for students.
- Work with a dedicated team of educators.
- Experience in SEN/SEMH settings (personal or professional).
- A passion for helping students reach their full potential.
- Flexibility and a readiness to jump in where needed.
- Strong teamwork skills and a commitment to inclusivity.
- Excellent communication and reliability.
