About The Role

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Personal Care Teaching Assistant to support students with special educational needs (SEN) in a warm and inclusive school environment. You will play a key role in assisting students with their personal care needs, including hygiene, mobility, and other daily activities, while also supporting their learning and development.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance to students, ensuring their dignity and comfort.
• Support students with SEN in their educational activities, promoting a positive learning experience.
• Assist with mobility and physical support needs as required.
• Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to create a nurturing and inclusive environment.
• Monitor and document student progress and well-being.
  
  

Requirements

• Experience working with children or young adults with SEN, particularly in a personal care capacity.
• A compassionate, patient, and nurturing approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to promoting the well-being and educational development of students.
• Relevant qualifications or training in personal care or SEN support is desirable.
