SUPPORT SERVICES MANAGER – FACILITIES MANAGEMENT

ROMFORD

What you will be doing:

An opportunity has arisen for a Support Services Manager to join the team at Galliford Try within our Facilities Management Business.

Ideally, you will based in or around the Romford area and will have the opportunity to travel across multiple sites/projects in the Region.

The successful candidate will oversee the Customer Service Centre, the Central Administration Team and the Training Coordination. There are three teams within the Romford office which supports the Facilities Management division of the business. The support functions are both client facing and in support of operations.

  • Manage three service teams to create a uniformed working environment.
  • HR responsibilities such as people management, recruitment, and development
  • Ensure deadlines are met for payment terms and queries are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Participate in review meetings and process change meetings.
  • Support the contracts team within information and changes in requirements.
  • Work with the Head of Support Services in defining a standard delivery model for the Administration support.
  • Mobilise new contracts and offer support to the contract team for all departments delivery
  • Partake in developing the use of technology to enhance processes and automate tasks to create efficiencies.
  • Prepare reports to keep Senior Management Teams informed with process, compliance & any arising issues within are of responsibility.
  • Manage the day to day running of the office including building maintenance
  • Manage the provision of confidential and sensitive information

About You:

  • Able to organise and plan own workload to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Possess excellent customer care skills e.g. dealing with suppliers, internal customers, complaints etc.
  • Able to liaise and communicate effectively both written and verbally.
  • Able to work both on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach
  • Willingness to participate in the development of new processes and in team activities.
  • Displays a positive, can do and helpful attitude at all times.
  • Provide a high-quality service by telephone and e-mail
  • Experience of managing a team and completing all HR processes such as people management to people development ideally in a contact centre environment
  • Experience of working in a complex multi- contracted environment
  • Experience of purchasing process from the creation of POs’s, resolving queries to payment
  • Experience of working with a finance system such as Orbit
  • Experience of working with a CAFM (Computer Aided Facilities Management) software such as MRI Evolution
  • Computer literate with knowledge/experience of Microsoft suite i.e. word, excel, PowerPoint
