We create sustainable and safety-forward footwear for frontline workers and children, turning waste into purpose with every step.

We tackle the environmental impact of fast fashion and workwear waste, while addressing the overlooked need for ergonomic, protective footwear for underserved groups like hospitality workers, technicians, and construction workers.

Our shoes are made from recycled and bio-based materials such as plastic bottles, apple waste, and algae; designed in collaboration with podiatrists for comfort and safety; and ethically produced. We’re now integrating smart insoles to monitor mobility for injury prevention.

Role (Volunteer): Social Media Coordinator.

Role Description: We’re looking for a creative Social Media Coordinator to join KIBO. You’ll be responsible for managing and growing our social media presence across Instagram and other platforms. The role includes content planning, copywriting, scheduling, community engagement, and basic analytics reporting.

Time Commitment: Volunteer 2-3 hours per week for 1-2 months remotely
