The Role:
We are looking for a QA engineer to help develop market leading InsurTech solutions. You will join us at an exciting time as we focus on cloud/SaaS solutions, upgrading existing products to new technologies, and develop brand-new applications.
You will work alongside other engineers as part of a close-knit agile development team to ensure our products meet high standards. Hybrid working from home and in-office is available.\

The Role:

You will work alongside other engineers as part of a close-knit agile development team to ensure our products meet high standards. Hybrid working from home and in-office is available.\
Responsibilities
The team share the following responsibilities and roles, you will be expected to contribute to those areas where you have prior experience and learn in areas that you don’t:
- Ownership of test strategies for features or whole applications
- Collaborate with the Product Owner and other stakeholders to define User Stories
- Collaborate with developers to resolve issues & achieve high levels of test automation
- Develop & execute functional & non-functional tests from unit to whole system and UX – manual & automated.
- Investigate new tools and techniques, share best practice with other teams.
The Requirement:
- Experience working in senior software quality assurance roles including automated and manual testing
- Experience in taking ownership of a particular area of software quality assurance for either a product or a team function
- Experience mentoring more junior members of the QA team/function
- Experience working in a “shift-left” culture, ownership / evangelism would be an advantage.
- Performance testing experience in general is mandatory, experience with JMeter and Azure Load Testing would be an advantage.
- Experience working with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), ideally in a QA capacity, would be an advantage.
