Business Development Executive

To support the growth in our Charter team, we are looking for individuals with some sales experience in a commercial environment who would love to start a career in aviation. The role is based in our Business Development team in Reigate and your primary focus would be to secure new customers from identified market segments. To be successful in this role you will need to be comfortable and confident reaching out to potential customers, particularly on the phone and enjoy a fast paced environment.
We can offer a competitive salary package with commission and other benefits. But perhaps more importantly we can offer a structured training programme with some of the most experienced charter brokers in the business.
Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:
- Excellent sales and business development skills, ideally with some experience gained in a commercial sales environment ( it doesn't need to be aviation based)
- Tenacious approach to winning business and target attainment
- Customer focused with first rate people skills
- Confident, professional telephone manner with a corporate approach to sales is essential
- Advanced communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels
- Excellent IT skills with a knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and the ability to learn and develop the functionality of a new system
- Ability to work in international markets with varying cultures and business practices
- Additional languages are essential (ideally one of the following - French, German or Spanish)
