All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, maintain, and organize laboratory equipment and materials for science lessons and experiments.
- Ensure the safe storage and disposal of chemicals and biological materials in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist teaching staff with practical experiments and demonstrations across biology, chemistry, and physics.
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels and order necessary supplies.
- Monitor and ensure the maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Support health and safety standards within the lab, adhering to all relevant guidelines.
- A background in science (minimum GCSE/A-Level or equivalent qualification in a science subject).
- Experience working in a laboratory or technical support role is preferred but not essential.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations within a lab environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
