Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified registered nurse to join the respiratory team on ward 6, YGC. This advert is for permanent positions, full time. Ward 6 is an acute 20 bed respiratory ward where an acute non invasive ventilation service is also provided in up to 6 level 2 beds, this is predominantly nurse led, and extremely well supported by the Consultants. On the ward you will gain knowledge and experience surrounding a variety of respiratory conditions.

Main duties of the job

Responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of evidenced-based nursing care, working collaboratively and co-operatively with others to meet the needs of patients and their families.

Assist in the management and organisation of their clinical area and participating in the education, development and supervision of other staff members.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
