The purpose of the role of the Refits Planning Manager is to lead and plan layouts at Department level across Refit or Refresh stores with the overall aim to maximise Returns on Capital Employed. The role will also include planning services such as Fitting Rooms, Tills, Self-checkouts, and Back of House areas delivering the required quantity to ensure the store can operate effectively. The role requires a collaborative approach working with other key stakeholders in the business.

What You’ll Do:
In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:
- Programme and plan a defined list of Refit Stores from store list identification to Refit Implementation.
- Developing an optimum layout plan to maximise sales and margin for each Project.
- Ability to work with Design to cohesively deliver the desired look and feel in Refits
- Analysing data modelling and other key financial metrics to support decision making and develop robust post investment appraisals to learn lessons and deliver improvements going forward.
- Working collaboratively with other key stakeholders in functions such as Retail, VM, Operations, Space Planning, Store Design, BMD and Store Development.

- 8-10 years of experience working in retail space planning
- A relevant degree or equivalent level of education preferred
- High proficiency with AutoCAD
- Construction experience – understanding terminology and process
- Location is Reading, however regular travel to Dublin will be a requirement of this role as well as visiting regional markets when required.
