About The Role

Our Digital teams are right at the heart of what we do. Surrounded by some of the best Digital Specialists in the industry, you’ll bring your own ideas to the business - helping to shape the experience of our customers as part of a forward-thinking team.

As a Digital analyst, you will play a key role to develop our analytics capabilities in our new Digital Analytics Centre of Excellence. You would join a growing team that will operate for our 16 markets!

You will be guiding our Digital and DigiTech teams to understand customer pain-points and identify the biggest opportunities. This analyst will transform digital data into meaningful reports and deep dive investigations whilst being aligned with product ways of working. These actionable insights will be presented to senior stakeholders, external agencies, and will drive business decisions.

Reporting to the Digital Analytics Manager, this role would be ideal for someone who worked in a retail e-commerce environment, with experience working on digital measurement and reporting tools. This person will be expected to communicate at all levels, as well as having strong analytical skills.

What You Will Do

You will be joining a fast paced, commercial environment, with the opportunity to collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:

  • Track, monitor and report key digital activities, evaluate their success and identify how they are contributing to the growth (traffic, engagement, conversion, sales).
  • Collaborate with our product owners to identify major business opportunities, by analysing online user behaviours, customer journeys, and sales data.
  • Proactively lead conversations to monitor the business and technology core KPIs, assess the performances vs. targets to suggest improvements in the experimentation process
  • Creation and maintenance of reports and dashboards using web analytics data and data visualisation tools, with the ambition to automate all reporting across the business
  • Present these insights to a large range of stakeholders, to support the daily operational decision-marking (e.g. trading meeting) and long-term strategic vision.
  • Ensure our teams are always receiving the most relevant data and insights to inform stakeholders and support the business decision-making.
  • Take ownership and lead the Data Champions Programme, building and supporting a network of team members across Digital and Digitech. This initiative upskills participants in analytical capabilities, enabling them to become the primary point of contact for analytics within their respective teams. The programme plays a key role in embedding a data-driven culture across Digital and Digitech.
  • Monitor competitors’ activities and provide updates on best cases and market trends.
  • Liaise with appointed external agencies supporting digital analytics.

What You Will Bring

  • 4+ years' experience in a similar analytics role with knowledge and experience of ecommerce, preferably in retail.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • An excellent communicator, with strong presentation skills and a confident voice who can contribute effectively as part of a team
  • An effective problem solver, who is comfortable to present to senior stakeholders
  • Ability to build credible relationships with a range of internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills, ability to multi-task, plan and prioritise workflow.
  • Self-motivated, problem solver and results oriented.
  • Expert in web analytics tools (Google Analytics 4, Content Square)
  • Experience using data visualisation platforms (Looker Studio, Tableau, Alteryx)
  • Excellent attention to detail and an ability to analyse and interrogate high volumes of data
