City: Cambridge
Contract type: Full time

Are you looking to take the next step in your career with a role that combines challenge, variety, and a supportive team environment? Whether you’re already working in property or bring valuable experience from another fast paced, client focused role, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re searching for a proactive and highly organised individual to join our Residential team at our office in Trumpington, Cambridgeshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and highly regarded property business that values initiative, adaptability, and a commitment to exceptional service.

You’ll enjoy working in an idyllic location on the outskirts of Cambridge, complete with free on-site parking and access to a subsidised café. Our Residential Team is known for delivering an unrivalled service across a broad range of property, from stylish apartments to charming cottages and country houses.

Your normal working hours will be 9:00am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour for lunch on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and 1¼ hours lunch on Tuesday and Thursday, as well as one Saturday as part of a Saturday rota 9am -1pm (approximately 1 in 5).

What you’ll be doing:

No two days are the same in this role. You’ll be:

  • Liaising daily with landlords, tenants, and contractors to manage queries and maintenance requests
  • Coordinating repair works and arranging contractor visits
  • Carrying out property visits and preparing reports
  • Keeping our property management systems up to date
  • Processing invoices
  • Organising move-ins and compliance documentation, such as gas safety and EICR certificates
  • Handling end-of-tenancy processes, from check-out reports to deposit resolution
  • Serving notices where required and supporting legal compliance

About You:

While experience in property management is an advantage, we also welcome applications from those with backgrounds in other property roles as well as those with experience in roles with transferrable skills such as customer service, facilities, or operations and who thrives in a people centric, fast moving environment.

You’ll succeed in this role if you are:

  • Organised, methodical, and able to juggle competing priorities
  • An excellent communicator with a confident and professional manner (both written and verbal)
  • Technically proficient with strong administrative skills and an eye for detail
  • Comfortable working independently but also a great team player

A full driving license and access to a vehicle are essential due to frequent travel within the role.

A local knowledge of Cambridge and the surrounding areas would also be beneficial.

If you’re someone who loves variety, enjoys problem-solving, and gets satisfaction from helping people every day, this could be just the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.
