As related customer equipment, facilities or infrastructure projects: responsible for project delivery, profit & loss accountability, and customer satisfaction through management of project related activities and resources.

Yo are accountable for the quality of own work, managing small projects and major projects planning.

Subject to direct operations supervision / prescribed work instructions / systems checking. Executes within a well-defined operations framework.

There is generally a step by step sequence of standard operational tasks which need to be followed to achieve an end result.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensures project implementation as well as work packages and constraints are accurately integrated into project planning scenario.
• Responsible for monitoring progress and producing accurate projections.
• Ensures other functions have access to accurate current reports and projections and relevant reports are available for the customer.
• Managing small projects for the PT Business, liaising with all key stakeholders to deliver the sales and margin contributing directly to P&L for Central & Northern Europe.
• Developing conceptual knowledge of professional discipline.
• May include support roles with specialised expertise or technical knowledge in broad area.
• Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience.
• Understands how work of own team contributes to the area.
• Resolves issues using established procedures.
• Consults supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions / parameters.
• Collaborates with others to solve issues.
• For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Exchanges technical information, asks questions and checks for understanding.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• This role requires basic experience in the Project Management & Project Planning.
• Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college certification with relevant experience).

Lichfield Road manufacturing facility has been originally established in 1903 and has been standing since 1960 as a part of English Electric group, delivering power transformers, that later merged GEC Alsthom and later became ALSTOM, and has been acquired by GE in 2015. Stafford is ideally suited for research and advanced manufacturing with our highly skilled staff and position at the heart of the UK's transport network. GE is proud to be the largest employer in Stafford, with around 1,700 employees across multiple sites.

The transformer facility has been renowned all over the world with its expertise in design, manufacturing, and delivery of HVAC and HVDC transformers world-wide, up to 800kV.
