Production Operator (Bognor Regis)

Main Purpose

The Production Operator will manufacture Sub-Assemblies and test products.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Manufacture Lead Plug Assemblies
• Manufacture and Test Case Assemblies
• Solder fine wire onto Bobbin
• Glue Bobbins into Cases
• Wind Bobbins
• Read and build from Drawings for Cables
• Build and Manufacture SM/1
• Work to 5S principles

• Attend appropriate training as required.
• Maintain all appropriate records.
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with your colleagues.

• Good Eyesight
• Good Dexterity
• Hand to eye coordination
• High Class Solder skills with thin wire
• Good Command of English- Spoken and Written
• Attention to detail
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Ability to follow detailed Work Instructions
• Use of Multimeters - Resistance Checks
• Computer Skills
• Use of Verniers
• Use of Cable Cutting techniques
• Understanding Measurement- Microns etc
  
  

Desirable – Will be trained

• Optical Inspection techniques
