Duties and responsibilities related to the Pastry Chef de Partie role

  • Ensure that all pastries and desserts are prepared to the highest standards, following the restaurant's recipes and guidelines.
  • Monitor the quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation.
  • Manage inventory for the pastry section, including ordering supplies and maintaining appropriate stock levels.
  • Ensure that kitchen equipment and tools in the section is maintained in good working order.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and ensure that all ingredients are fresh and of the highest quality.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

About You 

Proven experience in culinary operations, demonstrating strong leadership and management skills to oversee and inspire the Pastry section. Possess extensive knowledge of pastry techniques and presentation skills.
