Salary £26,000 - £30,000 FTE (£13,000 - £15,000 for 2.5 days per week)
Looking for a rewarding part-time role where you can make a real difference? Juniper Training Chesterfield is seeking a Vocational Tutor to deliver high-quality employability training and mentoring to learners aged 16–18.
This is a 2.5 day per week role, perfect for someone looking for flexibility while making an impact.
What You’ll Be Doing
25 days holiday, increasing to 30 with service
Buy & sell annual leave
Earn an extra week of leave just by exercising!
Paid mileage (35p per mile, above normal work mileage)

What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver engaging and practical sessions to develop employability and vocational skills
- Provide feedback, track progress, and help learners achieve their goals
- Support learners’ confidence, personal development, and motivation
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and progress
- Collaborate with colleagues and local employers to provide meaningful learning experiences
- Teaching qualification (PTLLS or equivalent)
- Passion for supporting learners to succeed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence with IT for lesson planning and records
- Bonus: Previous employability teaching experience
- Monday: 8:30am – 12.15pm
- Tuesday: 8:30am – 4:30pm
- Wednesday: 8:30am – 4.30pm
