Our client is a start-up technology company, and they are looking for a passionate and result-oriented part-time Business Development & Account Manager (5 hours a week) to join their expanding team and contribute to their ambitious growth plans. This is a great opportunity to become an important member of a growing business in a competitive market. This is an excellent role for someone who enjoys building relationships.
Please note a valid driving licence and a car are required for the role, and they are looking for candidates who are happy to travel to different areas as this is not a typical office job, therefore being out on the road must be something you're comfortable with.
Please note that the compensation package for this role includes a base at NLW per hour plus commission and equity.

Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through research, networking, and market analysis.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Communicate (physical visits, emails, calls, and social media) with potential clients.
- Oversee the onboarding process to ensure it is as quick, efficient and seamless as possible
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the seamless delivery of client solutions.
- Monitor market trends and competitors; and identify potential areas for growth.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to expand professional networks and represent the company.
- Minimum of five years of experience in sales, with a proven track record in business development, sales, or account management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships, drive sales cycles, and close deals.
- Commercially knowledgeable who understands the economics of food delivery
- Be able to demonstrate product and industry knowledge to clients
- Take ownership and work within demanding targets
- Be tenacious and motivated
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., HubSpot) and sales productivity tools.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and adaptable to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- A degree or above in Business, Marketing, or a related field would be a bonus but not mandatory.
- NLW per hour for worked hours plus competitive commission structure with uncapped earning potential.
