Interim Management Accountant - UK Remote - 5 months

The role
An Qualified Accountant with 5 years plus of experience is needed to join our team at bigspark on a fully remote basis for a period of 4 months. This role will manage bigsparks monthly accounting and provide accurate reporting to the executive leadership team.
The role has potential to grow as bigspark grows in 2026.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Month end financial reporting
Full monthly management accounts & KPI pack
Responsible for the balance sheet and P&L
Maintaining all ledgers
Cash flow management
Annual budgets and monthly forecasts
Overseeing AP & AR
Overseeing the monthly sales invoices to ensure they are accurate and timely
Year end accounts and VAT reporting
Inter-company transactions
Group reporting across different jurisdictions
Constantly looking to make efficiencies and automate processes where possible
Continually drive and improve reporting, processes and systems, promoting an analytical and detailed approach
Required Experience:
Full professional accountancy qualification (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)
Minimum 5 Years Experience In Management Accounts And Forecasting
Solid understanding of the balance sheet and reconciliations
Experience in cashflow management
Self-starter, who can pick up tasks quickly and understand the bigger picture
Commercial understanding and business acumen
Advanced working knowledge of Google Suite and advanced Excel
Advanced working knowledge of Xero
Ability to manage multiple and sometimes conflicting deadlines and support the business within a busy environment
