What You’ll Be Doing

This role leads our Talent and Development team across Retail, Supply Chain and Operations. You’ll be at the heart of our learning strategy, leading and helping shape a workplace where people grow, thrive, and succeed.

Your role will involve:

  • Partnering with senior leaders to co-create a strategic learning roadmap that supports business goals and future capability needs
  • Leading and developing the Talent & Development team-setting direction, coaching for performance, and enabling impact
  • Championing a culture of continuous learning, coaching, and professional development across all levels of the business
  • Designing and delivering leadership development programmes that build capability and support succession planning
  • Using data and insights to evaluate learning impact and inform future strategy
  • Driving innovation in learning design, tools, and technologies to keep us ahead of the curve
  • Embedding learning into the flow of work-making it relevant, inclusive, and transformational

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who’s strategic, curious, and ready to make a difference. You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

  • Proven experience leading a strategic learning and development function
  • A strong track record of partnering with senior stakeholders to deliver business-aligned learning solutions
  • Expertise in leadership development, coaching, and organisational capability building
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and influencing skills
  • An agile mindset and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Experience with digital learning platforms and tools
  • A commitment to personal development and staying ahead of industry trends
  • Willingness to travel and work flexibly, including occasional overnight stays
  • A full UK driving licence
