Are you a recent IT graduate looking to launch your career in a modern, tech-driven environment? This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established database consultancy in Edinburgh as a Graduate Database Support Consultant.
You'll join a supportive service desk team responsible for providing first-line database support across SQL Server and Oracle environments. It's a perfect role for someone passionate about learning, problem-solving, and developing a career in database technology.
What You'll Be Doing
- Monitor and resolve database support tickets (SQL Server & Oracle)
- Work alongside senior engineers to troubleshoot and escalate issues when needed
- Develop your skills through on-the-job learning and paid certifications
- Contribute to maintaining system stability and excellent customer service
What You'll Bring
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline
- Strong interest in databases and data management
- Basic understanding of SQL or Oracle (academic or practical exposure)
- Great communication skills and a proactive mindset
