Position: Key Account Manager
Location: Northern Ireland, Remote or London Hybrid
About The Position
This is a pivotal sales role within Flora Food Group. As our Key Account Manager for Irish Retail, you will lead growth across the Irish retail sector, building strong commercial partnerships with key retailers and buying groups throughout Ireland. You will be responsible for expanding the presence of our iconic plant-based brands—Flora, ProActiv, and Elmlea—across this strategically important channel.
You’ll deliver against ambitious targets through strategic account management, cultivating high-impact relationships with Irish retail customers, and developing tailored business plans that reflect the unique dynamics of the Irish retail landscape. The role can be based in Northern Ireland with monthly travel to our London office, or London-based with regular travel to Republic of Ireland customers.

About The Position

You’ll deliver against ambitious targets through strategic account management, cultivating high-impact relationships with Irish retail customers, and developing tailored business plans that reflect the unique dynamics of the Irish retail landscape. Key Responsibilities Include
Strategic Account Management:
- Oversee P&L performance for Irish retail accounts, delivering financially optimised results.
- Develop annual account plans to maximise sales potential, identifying both short-term opportunities and long-term growth strategies across Ireland.
- Drive actionable plans to mitigate risks and capitalise on opportunities within the Irish retail sector.
- Partner with the Category team to analyse Irish market dynamics and uncover channel-specific opportunities.
- Work with the Supply Chain team to ensure exceptional service levels and streamlined operations tailored to Irish retail partners.
- Collaborate with Marketing to successfully launch New Product Developments (NPD) and execute trade marketing strategies across Irish retail channels.
- Build and nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive alignment and long-term success in Ireland.
- Report to the Business Unit Lead, playing a key role in contributing to the overall growth strategy within Irish retail.
Experience And Expertise
- Proven experience as a Key Account Manager, managing retail accounts within FMCG, ideally with exposure to Irish retail and distribution networks,
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with a track record of achieving ambitious sales and P&L targets.
- A commercially astute mindset, holding yourself and others accountable to deliver and monitor performance.
- A proactive approach to solving problems and addressing challenges with innovative strategies tailored to the Irish market.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality solutions, delighting both internal and external customers.
- The ability to interpret Irish market and competitor data and transform insights into actionable strategies.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving retail and e-commerce environment, showing initiative and adaptability
