What You’ll Do
We're recruiting for a Financial Crime Analyst to join our Risk & Compliance team here at Vodafone UK. As a Financial Crime Analyst, you will adopt a highly cross functional role which aims to drive financial crime standards, helps spread an understanding of financial crime in the 1st line, and both protects our customers and Vodafone by ensuring compliance with financial crime requirements.

What You’ll Do
We're recruiting for a Financial Crime Analyst to join our Risk & Compliance team here at Vodafone UK. As a Financial Crime Analyst, you will adopt a highly cross functional role which aims to drive financial crime standards, helps spread an understanding of financial crime in the 1st line, and both protects our customers and Vodafone by ensuring compliance with financial crime requirements.
Wider responsibilities will also include, but will not be limited to:
- Supporting the effective implementation and management of financial crime related 1st Line of Defence (1LOD) processes, systems, and controls within Vodafone UK.
- Undertake escalation processes to support the Financial Crime Manager
- Support in establishing and delivering appropriate 1LOD governance forums and working groups.
- Delivery of financial crime reporting, ensuring quality of information is maintained and trend analysis is completed.
- Ensure records are retained in line with requirements (e.g., Money Laundering Regulations).
- Support the recording and updating of risks on Synergi
- Support with training relating to financial crime disciplines.
- Support the Financial Crime Manager with ad hoc projects as required across 1LOD.
- Demonstrable experience of Financial Crime in an operational environment, having specialised in the field of Anti-Money Laundering, Sanctions, Trade Controls, and/or Anti-Bribery.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with a clear track record of translating ideas and information to all levels of seniority.
- Builds relationships within and across departments with a collaborative and consultative mindset.
- Adept in the utilisation of the MS Office suite
- Preferably ICA certified.
