What You’ll Do

  • Manage the global hackathon initiative, ensuring its continued success and expansion to all Vodafone markets.
  • Championing the ideas that come out of the global hackathon to ensure value is brought though implementation aiming for 5 from each iteration to become implemented.
  • Manage the business side of the Nova platform working closely with the platform lead aiming to solicit 50 ideas through the year.
  • Build a community of youth that contribute to the success of Nova.
  • Support the idea teams to develop a pipeline of compelling innovations that can lead to successful commercial products or improvements in the Vodafone internal operations.


Who You Are

  • Experience in leading complex multi-market initiatives with varied teams.
  • Ability to manage senior stakeholders to drive participation, engagement and support for initiatives. and e xcellent Project Management skills.
  • Great communication skills including presenting to large audiences in person and online.
  • Keeps up to date with current advances in tech and worldwide innovation.
  • Good Excel skills for budget and implementation tracking.

  • Discretionary yearly bonus: 10%
  • Annual leave: 28 days + bank holidays + the opportunity to buy/sell/carry over 5 days/year
  • Charity days: 5 days/year
  • Maternity/adoption leave: 52 weeks out of whichthe first 13 weeks are fully paid followed by 26 weeks of half pay and 6 months - working 4 days, getting paid 5
  • Paternity leave: 16 weeks fully paid
  • Private pension: You can contribute up to 5% of your basic pay with 2:1 matching from Vodafone up to 10%.
