We are looking for a finance specialist with strong analytical skills and a keen appetite for driving forward improvements, to work primarily on the Improved Reporting and Analytics project.

About The Role
Working closely with colleagues across Finance, IT, HR and the Aura programme, the main responsibilities of the role will include:
As an ‘any-desk’ worker, you’ll need to be connected to our network to access digital folders and resources, but this can either be from home or an office location when required. You will be required to work from the office a couple of times a week, depending on your role and team requirements*.
We are looking for someone with excellent analytical skills who is comfortable working with SAP in a technical capacity. Experience of SAP Business Warehouse and/or Power BI would be desirable. In addition, the successful candidate will work well in a team with good communication skills. The successful candidate will be a good team player but also be able to work on their own initiative.
Good communication skills both written and verbal will be of benefit to help build and develop strong relationships on the project and to lead where necessary.

About The Role
Working closely with colleagues across Finance, IT, HR and the Aura programme, the main responsibilities of the role will include:
- Being the lead Finance representative on the Aura Improving Analytics and Reporting project.
- Ensuring project tasks are completed to time and quality standards.
- Working closely with the Project Manager and building strong relationships with colleagues of all levels across Finance, IT, HR and AURA to collaboratively deliver the project.
- Determining detailed business requirements and preparing the procurement specification for improving our analytic and reporting toolkit using SAP, SAP Business Warehouse and Power BI.
- Working closely with external consultants and internal subject matter experts to ensure solutions are delivered that meet business requirements.
- Defining an approach to up-skilling colleagues in use of tools such as SAP Business Warehouse and Power BI.
- Producing and maintaining project documentation such as business cases, business requirements, project plans and highlight reports.
- Participating in project governance meetings with a variety of stakeholders and leading workshops.
- Working flexibly across different strategic and tactical Finance Improvement projects as required.
