You will contribute to cutting-edge projects and play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and testing electromechanical systems. Key Responsibilities
Adhere to Aggregate Industries Health and Safety requirements, and actively
contribute towards a ‘zero harm’ culture in the workplace. To gain a full working knowledge of the block making process, plant and
equipment.
To be actively involved in all aspects of plant maintenance including:
schedules
productivity improvements activities across the factories.
The multi-skilled electro/mechanical engineer must be a time served apprentice (or
equivalent) and be qualified to:

Key Responsibilities
Adhere to Aggregate Industries Health and Safety requirements, and actively
contribute towards a ‘zero harm’ culture in the workplace. To gain a full working knowledge of the block making process, plant and
equipment.
To be actively involved in all aspects of plant maintenance including:
- Breakdown maintenance (electrical and mechanical)
- Ensure that statutory and Aggregate industries maintenance checks
schedules
- Working in conjunction with the production manager, site electrical /
productivity improvements activities across the factories.
- Time served electrical engineering apprenticeship (engineering training
- City and Guilds 2382 qualified
- Functional safety/Safety related control systems for machinery
- Ability to work well on own or part of a team
- Motor control/VFD/DC Drives. Weighing equipment (load cells etc)
- PLC experience, Fault finding and programming. Robot experience Fault finding
- Flexible approach to working hours. IT Skills
The multi-skilled electro/mechanical engineer must be a time served apprentice (or
equivalent) and be qualified to:
- City & Guilds, B Tech, NVQ L3 or equivalent in plant maintenance.
- Mechanically competent in; Metal Fabrication, Welding (arc & gas), Machine
- Electrically competent in; process control and automation ideally Allen
- Have comprehensive knowledge of conditional and preventative maintenance
Ideal but non essential qualifications include:
- Inspection & Testing, AM2 Test,
- 18th Edition wiring regulations
- Fork Lift Truck licence (NVQ/EPIC/CITB)
- MEWP licence.
