Role responsibilities
The Early Talent Advisor will contribute to the development and delivery of Early Talent programmes across TfW, including apprenticeships, graduate scheme, work experience and internships aligned to the overall Early Talent Strategy to maximise opportunities across the organisation.
Actively contribute to delivering a wide range of Early Talent related projects by aligning projects with the Early Talent strategy and the organisations strategic goals and objectives as well as incorporating initiatives such as the Wellbeing of Future Generations Act, the Seven Well-Being goals and efforts in equality, diversity and inclusion, employer branding and programme expansion to ensure that the organisation meets its broader objective.
Provide advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on the best practices for managing early talent, covering all aspects from planning and recruitment to onboarding and performance management of graduates, apprentices and interns to ensure a high standard of quality and diversity in talent selection, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for early career professionals.
Support the end-to-end early talent recruitment process by managing attraction campaigns, shortlisting, designing and delivering assessment centres, providing interview support and offer management to ensure that TfW create a first-class candidate experience and promote diversity within the recruitment process whilst complying with UK employment law.
Provide a seamless onboarding experience for all new early talent hires by supporting and delivering induction activities such as 'welcome days' and launch events to ensure that learning agreements with delivery partners for apprenticeships are handled appropriately and serve as the first point of contact for hiring managers, new apprentices, grads and interns, providing them with guidance and wrap around support as they integrate into the business.
Who we’re looking for
- CIPD Level 3 qualified or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in delivering end to end attraction and recruitment activities.
- Proven experience of delivering talent engagement and attraction campaigns and building brand presence particularly on social media to help in the attraction of top talent.
- Passionate about diversity, equality and inclusion, with a track record of driving EDI initiatives in a recruitment or talent development context.
- Team working and collaborative ethos and able to build relationships at all levels both internally and externally.
Welsh Language Skills.
The ability to speak/write Welsh would make a great addition to your application, but it is not essential for the role. Transport for Wales supports and promotes the use of the Welsh Language by employees and will encourage them to develop, improve and maintain their Welsh Language skills. We fully support our people who want to improve their Welsh language skills, and personal development for Welsh Language skills are offered in a variety of ways such as online learning, classroom courses and funding attendance at local community courses.
