A vacancy has arisen for a Driver, within the Transport & Logistics Department at Ninewells Hospital, Dundee.

You will be required to provide an effective and efficient Transport Service incorporating local and national tasks, provide delivery and collection service of meals, mail, specimens, stores, equipment, clinical/confidential waste and sundry items to NHS Tayside Hospitals, Clinics/Health, Centres and G.P. Surgeries.

You must have the ability to work as part of a team and/or on your own initiative, follow instructions and possess good communication skills. A Certificate in Professional Competency (CPC) is essential for this post. You must also be able to respond constructively to unpredictable situations and able to cope under pressure.

The job description is currently under review through NHST Agenda for Change, as some of the tasks are no longer relevant to the advertised post, and this can be explored at interview.
