Job Title: Degree Apprentice Network Engineer
Location: Portsmouth (Hampshire)
Salary: Starting from £24,125 with annual progression through the scheme duration

The Naval Ships Combat Systems Team
As part of our UK Maritime Sector, Naval Ships designs, builds and delivers complex warships and combat systems, and you could play a vital role in its future.
We are designing and building the Royal Navy’s new Type 26 Global Combat Ship. A highly capable and versatile multi-mission warship designed to support anti-submarine warfare, air defence and other operations anywhere on the world’s oceans.
Our combat systems are in operation in more than 20 countries around the world and this technology is vital in providing crew members with the information and capabilities they need to operate effectively, whether protecting the world’s shipping lanes or providing humanitarian relief.

Export Control/Security

Qualification Requirements
5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade 9-4/A*-C which must include Maths & English & a Science/Technical Subject AND 1 of the following:
3 A-levels (or equivalent) at grade C or above. 1 subject must be Maths and 1 subject must be in Engineering or a Science/Technical subject
OR
An equivalent level 3 vocational qualification (must be a STEM related subject that aligns to the scheme/area you are applying for and worth a minimum of 96 UCAS points)

- Provide technology enabled solutions to internal and external customers
- Installation, configuration and testing of our Network systems
- Working alongside Software and Cyber infrastructure
- Develop new products and services, using digital technologies
- Be part of a professional team, working together to secure our defence systems
- Wide range of work-based placements to learn while you earn
- Gaining a BSc Degree, with Honours in Digital Technology Solutions, specialising in Network Engineering
