We provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation.
This role will be within our Metering team, you’ll join the leading provider of metering services in the UK energy retail sector, we provide efficient and flexible services for gas, electricity and water meters.
Our meter readers install, maintain and manage meters to make sure customers are billed correctly and energy usage patterns are monitored.

What will you be doing?
Are you ready to take on a role in our Energy business? This role is an office based role in Newcastle. Working 16 hours per week between the hours of 3pm - 8pm Monday to Friday and occasional Saturdays when required. Further detail to be provided at interview.
As the first point of contact for customers, colleagues, suppliers, and field staff, you will provide support to resolve issues, manage queries, and ensure meter reading appointments are completed within contractual SLAs. You will maintain professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude while working within departmental KPIs. Strong communication skills and an aptitude for problem-solving are essential, as is the ability to liaise effectively across various levels of Morrison Data Services and with external suppliers. This role requires a proactive approach to service delivery and a commitment to upholding high standards in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

- Be a great communicator (verbal and listening) as you will make both inbound and outbound telephone calls
- Self motivated and enthusiastic
- Well organised and able to prioritise
- IT literate
- Able to deliver objective and adhere to KPIs
