About The Role

Shift Pattern: Tuesday 07:00 - 14:00, Wednesday 07:00 - 13:00 and Saturday 07:00 - 14:00

As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various areas. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will ensure that all assigned areas are cleaned efficiently and effectively, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment.

As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Regular outdoor cleaning of walkways, seating, and green areas.
  • Picking up litter and debris from every place, including the car parks and landscapes.
  • Remove waste and rubbish for disposal from bins and recycling containers each day, washing them down.
  • Environmentally sound disposal of collected rubbish.
  • Inspecting bins regularly to avoid overflow and keep them clean.
  • Storefront windows and glass doors shall be washed monthly for visibility and appearance.
  • Dust and grime shall be regularly wiped from outdoor furniture, railings, and light fixtures.
  • Schedule quarterly deep cleans for heavy foot traffic areas or specialised surfaces.
  • Power washing of walkways and parking areas when required.
  • Leaf clearing and snow removal during the fall and winter months as necessary.
  • Appropriate cleaning products complying with safety standards must be used.
  • Training in proper cleaning procedure and safety protocol must be imparted to all staff.
  • Signs are posted whenever cleaning operation is on, alerting customers to potential hazard.
  • Preparing an activity log daily of cleaning work and any problems encountered.
  • Submitted weekly reports to management on cleaning status and any requirements for maintenance.
