  • Security Officer (Nights) – Full Time Location: Stafford (Screwfix Site) Pay Rate: £12.29 per hour Shift Pattern: Nights

Job Description

We are seeking a professional and reliable Security Officer to join our night team at Screwfix in Stafford. This is a full-time position, offering stability, ongoing support, and opportunities for development within a leading security company.

As a Security Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of the site, staff, and visitors. You'll provide a visible presence, carry out regular patrols, monitor CCTV, and respond to incidents when required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a visible and reassuring security presence
  • Ensure the safety and security of staff, visitors, and property
  • Conduct regular patrols and site inspections
  • Monitor CCTV systems and respond to alarms
  • Control access and manage visitors on site
  • Write clear and accurate incident and daily reports

Requirements

  • Valid SIA Licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervisor)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible and reliable – able to work nights, weekends, and public holidays as required
  • IT literate (IT test will be required)
  • Professional, punctual, and customer-focused
