We are currently hiring here at Vertu Ford Newcastle & have a unique opportunity for a Business Development Executive to come and join the team at our dealership! This is a great role for someone to start with us and make it their own!
You will be working closely with the line managers on site to help build the brand of Ford Newcastle reporting to the General Manager and producing innovate ideas on how to do so! You will be responsible for promoting the brand within the local area using products created from our in-house marketing team! A creative eye and adaptability will be key for this role!
We are offering a basic salary of up to £30,000 with an OTE of £40,000 plus a company car!

Key Responsibilities
- Following up on potential avenues given by the dealership to promote offers or the brand.
- Prospecting potential clients
- Selling the brand and dealership and why clients should work with us.
- Managing social content for the dealership.
- To develop excellent working relationships with other teams in our business to get the up-must out of the role.
- To be out working with the public to promote the dealership.
- To develop a good understanding of the market, competitors, and consumers.
- Seeking local opportunities in where the dealership can get involved.
- Initiating contact through cold calls and unexpected visits to new businesses.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Creating relationships and networking with potential clients who we can work with.
- Strong organisation skills.
- Ability to coordinate projects and hit deadlines.
- Confident with speaking and selling the dealership to any opportunities.
- Being able to work well alone, but also if needed in a team environment.
- Creative thinker - the ability to think of ideas outside of the box and provide the information to the relevant line manager.
