Business Analyst - Digital
easyJet holidays
Date: 1 week ago
City: Luton
Contract type: Full time
We are expanding our team with new Business Analyst roles to help drive further growth of easyJet holidays.
Our Business Analysts are responsible for shaping the requirements across our investment portfolio and work with stakeholders from across the business to deliver change successfully. They are aligned with exciting strategic Products and work alongside our Product Owners to ensure successful delivery of our key strategic initiatives.
As a Business Analysts, you’ll build a detailed understanding of all aspects of the easyJet holidays business, including our capabilities, processes, systems, products and ways of working. By truly understanding of our customers, our brand, our proposition, and our place in the external market, you’ll identify and explore opportunities for growth by gathering, documenting, analysing and challenging business requirements. You will own business requirements from discovery stage through to delivery, ensuring a progressively more detailed level of requirements is documented throughout the lifecycle, ensuring impacts on business processes are considered throughout the change lifecycle, and that business areas retain full ownership of respective processes.
Our Business Analysts are the conduit between our Product Owners and technical implementation teams throughout the lifecycle of the Product. They identify, report and help to mitigate risk and use their judgement and analytical skills to help resolve complex business challenges, support the identification, measurement and validation of benefits, and develop excellent relationships with stakeholders across their assigned projects.
What You’ll Bring To The Team
First and foremost you will need to have worked in a role where you have gained experience in challenging, shaping and developing ideas to align with business strategy, customer needs and market/regulatory requirements. You’ll have excellent analytical skills, be able to conduct root cause analysis, map as is/to be processes, conduct gap analysis, and able to understand market trends/opportunities.
At easyJet holidays, we're all about “building remarkable teams and modern ways of working”, so we like people who can demonstrate experience of applying agile requirements techniques (such as Behavioural Driven Development). You’ll need to have great communications and facilitation skills to help challenge conventional thinking, and be skilled at managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders at various levels.
Finally, we’d love it if you also have travel industry, holidays company or an equivalent industry experience (but it’s not a deal breaker).
What’s In It For You
In addition to you competitive base salary, we offer an all-inclusive benefits package which includes our company-wide bonus scheme and a 7% pension contribution. We offer a variety of share options and life assurance, and we have an impressive range of flexible benefits that you can tailor to your needs.
You'll have access to heavily discounted flights for yourself and your loved ones, as well as free easyJet Plus membership and annual holiday vouchers.
At easyJet holidays, we're committed to supporting our team with development opportunities and a welcoming atmosphere. We create unforgettable experiences for our customers, and we strive to do the same for our people. The possibilities are endless with us… where would you like to go?
The role is full-time and based at our easyJet holidays HQ near Luton Airport. We operate a hybrid working model with three in-office days per week.
