We are currently recruiting for our YO! Sushi store situated in the departures area of London Luton Airport; we are currently looking for energetic, enthusiastic new members to join the team that have a passion for excellence, teamwork and a passion for great food!
Previous experience in a food environment and a customer facing role preferred but not essencial.
Hours: Flexibility for work pattern over 7 days on a shift basis.
Job Purpose:
As a Team Member you'll play a vital role in assisting customers with their needs and providing recommendations.You will follow all safety guidelines and handle transactions for YO! Sushi food products, You'll work as part of a team to offer excellent customer service and customer satisfaction, contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service: Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude, take orders accurately and efficiently, and manage customer payments. Deal with customer inquiries promptly and professionally. Ensure all customers have a positive dining experience and ask for reviews.
Food: Follow food safety protocols to ensure the freshness and quality of food products. Have a strong knowledge of all our product specs to deliver our fantastic menu to the highest standards. have a keen eye for the detail on our products.
Cleaning: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the restaurant, including dining areas, kitchen surfaces and equipment. Follow cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for customers and team members.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to coordinate all food tasks, assembly, and service efficiently. Communicate effectively with other Team Members and Supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and address any issues or concerns.
Inventory: Restock as needed to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Rotate stock and check expiration dates to minimise waste and ensure product freshness. Operate the cash regiter and handle all transactions accurately.
Organisation: Follow all Yo! guidelies on table settings, tableware etc.
Work environment:
This role is in a fast-paced environment that can be physically demanding; extended periods standing, walking, and performing repetitive tasks.
