About This Opportunity

Belle Vue Coaches in Stockport have a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated person to join their company. Working in their workshop on HGV’s, you will help keep vehicles in good order, servicing, repairing and fully operational.

The successful applicant will be expected to learn about the following:

  • Keeping the workshop clean & tidy
  • How to use tools & equipment used in vehicle maintenance & repair
  • Safe working procedures in the workshop
  • Assisting other vehicle and ground side equipment technicians with their work whilst receiving on the job training
  • How to service and inspect a vehicle
  • How to safely remove and replace engine, chassis, electrical and transmission components
  • How to carry out simple and complex fault diagnosis and repairs on engine, chassis, transmission, and electrical systems

How you will be supported

Full training and support will be provided by The Growth Company to help you achieve your apprenticeship and reach your full potential in your role.

What you should have to apply

  • GCSE Maths and English A*-C/9-4
  • Level 2 Apprenticeship In Heavy Good Vehicle Technician or a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance Technician qualification - Essential
