Consulting brings together multiple teams across Transactions, Risk & Consulting, ABA, and Outsourcing to provide client-centric solutions for RSM’s current and future clients within the middle market. Our Consulting team has a major role to play in driving forward the growth of the firm with over 1,700 people delivering almost £200m revenue.
At the heart of Consulting are the six solutions we offer our clients: business transformation, deal services, finance function support, risk and governance, forensic and investigation services, and restructuring. We are looking for a supervisor to join our accounting and financial Reporting team in Chelmsford to provide delivery and supervision of accountancy services to a range of clients, while always promoting the firm.

You’ll make an impact by:
- Ensuring jobs are completed to the highest standard and within agreed internal budgets
- Working independently on assignments at client premises when required
- Supervising junior team members, assisting with their day-to-day training and development
- Preparing annual financial statements for a range of entity types, both in variety and size, including the preparation of financial statements for audit
- Conducting analytical reviews incorporating variance analysis on all account’s preparations.

- ACA or ACCA qualified or part-qualified individual or someone with equivalent experience
- Experience of working in a professional services accountancy practice environment
- Strong communicator with a proven experience of building strong client relationships at all levels
- Can navigate various accounting and bookkeeping packages such as CCH, Sage and Xero
