2nd Level Support Analyst (Applications)

West Dunbartonshire Council is currently seeking to employ an experienced and enthusiastic 2nd Line Applications Analyst/Programmer to work in our ICT Department. As a key member of our Applications Team, you'll be providing support for a wide variety of business systems including Document Management, HR, Finance and the ICT Service Desk.,

• Troubleshooting user incidents, diagnosing and solving recurring software faults.
• Upgrading business applications to the defined standards in line with our change management processes.
• Prioritising and managing numerous open Service Desk requests and incidents simultaneously.
• Maintaining an accurate documentation of incidents, solutions and procedures.
• Escalating complex issues to the appropriate teams while maintaining clear communication with end users.
