HGV Class 1 Heavy Plant Machinery Delivery Driver

We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to deliver heavy plant and agricultural machinery across Dorset using modern Volvo and Scania vehicles.

• Safely transport and deliver machinery such as excavators, dumpers, and telehandlers.
• Load and unload equipment, perform daily vehicle checks, and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure proper use of tachographs and complete delivery documentation.
• Identify back-loading opportunities to optimize trips.
  
  

This full-time, permanent role requires specialist knowledge beyond standard haulage, with early mornings essential for timely deliveries. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in heavy plant delivery and HGV Class 1 driving is preferred, along with Drivers CPC accreditation. The starting rate is £16.00/hour, with potential increases for experienced and committed drivers. Benefits include a company pension and on-site parking.
