Frontend Development Internship

Arabian Private Holdings

Date: 3 hours ago
City: Manchester
Contract type: Full time
Remote
About the role
The firm is currently supporting a Manchester-based infrastructure client with an ongoing engagement regarding its portfolio and governance. This internship exists to aid in the creation and maintenance of frontend interfaces that present complex data to these stakeholders. It is a necessary function to ensure our technical deliverables match the precision and clarity of our strategic advice.

About Arabian Private Holdings
Arabian Private Holdings operates on the foundation that many critical business problems do not require the overhead of traditional large-scale consulting firms. We focus on corporate strategy, governance, and operating model efficiency for significant family groups and government entities. Our structure is principal-led, meaning the individuals who form a view on a problem are the same people responsible for defending and delivering the solution. We manage a limited number of mandates to ensure that every client receives direct and accountable attention. As a fully remote firm, we prioritize the quality of our analysis and the strength of our client relationships over presence in a physical office. If a project does not align with our specific expertise, we are clear about it from the beginning.

What you will do
  • Translate design requirements and wireframes into functional code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Assist in the development of dashboard components for our Manchester infrastructure client engagement.
  • Maintain and update internal platforms used to track client portfolio clarity and project milestones.
  • Review existing frontend code for performance issues and ensure consistency across different interfaces.
  • Work with principals to ensure that technical outputs reflect the rigorous standards of the firm.
  • Collaborate on the documentation of frontend processes to maintain clarity for future mandates.
  • Help test web components across various browsers to ensure a reliable user experience.
  • Participate in internal reviews to refine the presentation of complex data sets.

What we are looking for
  • Basic proficiency in core web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • The ability to write clear, readable code and explain technical decisions in plain English.
  • A logical approach to solving layout problems and an attention to visual detail.
  • Reliability in a remote work setting and the ability to manage tasks independently.
  • Curiosity regarding how technical tools can improve corporate governance and decision making.
  • Strong written communication skills and a preference for simplicity over complexity.

How we work
We function as a fully remote organization, which allows us to find individuals with the right mindset regardless of their location. Our operating model is based on transparency, directness, and high levels of individual accountability. Rather than managing through layers of middle management, our interns work closely with principals. This structure provides a unique environment for mentoring and professional development. We value written precision and expect every team member to contribute to a culture of rigorous thought. Our governance approach ensures that even in a remote setting, we maintain the highest standards of performance and confidentiality for our clients.

What the role offers
  • Attractive and competitive pay for an entry-level position in the professional services market.
  • Direct exposure to significant infrastructure and corporate strategy mandates.
  • The opportunity to build technical skills within a firm focused on high-level advisory work.
  • A professional remote work environment that values autonomy and results.
  • Personal mentoring from experienced principals who emphasize clarity and logic.
