Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Band 7 Family Care Nurse Specialist in Palliative care to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in neonatal nursing and palliative care, with a deep understanding of the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of infants and their families facing life-limiting conditions. We are enhancing our Neonatal Team to include a Family Care Nurse Specialist in Palliative care , this role will offer comprehensive services to ensure comfort, dignity, and compassion during challenging times. Our multidisciplinary team is committed to delivering the highest standard of care while honoring the unique needs and wishes of each family.

This position offers a unique opportunity to combine direct patient care with project management and quality improvement efforts, allowing you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their loved ones while contributing to the advancement of our healthcare system.

The excitement of the Maternity and Neonatal Redesign, will see the Neonatal Unit at QMC increase to provide an additional 21 neonatal cots.
