We’re recruiting for a Initial Risk Underwriter to join us. We’re offering a competitive base salary and strong benefits package.

    What you'll be doing:

    • Responsible for assessing Life and Health Insurance applications and deciding if we can offer a policy
    • Reviewing the initial assessment and, if needed, asking for more information from the potential customer or their doctor
    • Analysing key risks in the initial application and ensuring customers are treated fairly
    • Ensuring that throughout the process customer satisfaction is maximised and all queries are dealt with professionally and in a timely manner


    Who we're looking for:

    • A degree level qualification with a medical or biology focus would be advantageous (but not essential)
    • Good written and verbal communication skills
    • Some understanding of the key risk factors relating to mortality and morbidity
