Management Accountant

Job Title: Management Accountant

Location: Bromborough, Wirral

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per year

Working Pattern: Full Time

Our client, based in Bromborough, is a leading manufacturer and are currently seeking a Management Accountant to join their finance team.

Responsibilities

• Production of monthly management accounts
• Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
• Overseeing inter-company invoicing and reconciling group balances
• Maintaining the standard cost of raw materials, work in progress, and finished goods
• Reporting and resolving production variances
• Monitoring costs against budgets and investigating variances
• Cash flow forecasting
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Supporting the Financial Controller
• Providing line management and guidance to the Finance Administrator
  
  

Requirements

• CIMA or ACCA fully qualified or finalist
• Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Maths, or equivalent experience
• Experience and understanding of Manufacturing environments
• Good knowledge of Cost & Project Accounting
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Strong IT skills, particularly MS Excel
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment
