We are looking a motivated nurse who is ready to take the next steps in their career to train as a Clinical Endoscopist at CUH.   This training post is suitable for registered nurses who have an interest in endoscopy or gastroenterology and are willing to  complete a programme of study to develop the skills and knowledge required for the role. 


We are a JAG accredited endoscopy unit and training  facility, with a mix of medical and clinical Endoscopists.  We are excited in being able to recruit a further clinical endoscopist to our team to help us maintain our high standards of care within the unit. 


Through a comprehensive training programme by the East of England Endoscopy Training Academy you will be supported to become a fully competent and safe Clinical Endoscopist in upper and lower GI endoscopy. 


You will need to be patient focused with a commitment to learning, the ability to undertake self-directed learning and be able to effectively manage your time.  






Main duties of the job



This is a training post to become a fully independent and JAG accredited Endoscopist.


Responsible for the assessment, planning, diagnosis implementation and evaluation of care, as an autonomous practitioner with highly specialist skills.


Be responsible for implementing a clearly defined  integrated approach to patient care encompassing new treatments and evidence based care
