We are currently seeking experienced Operating Department Practitioners (ODPs) specializing in Anaesthetics for a temporary position at The Meriden Hospital on the University Hospital Site in Coventry, Warwickshire, West Midlands, United Kingdom. This opportunity is being offered through our client, Circle Health Group, a leading healthcare provider known for their commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

The selected candidates will be required to start on 27/04/2024 and work until 27/04/2024, with shifts starting at 07:00:00 and ending at 17:00:00. The payment rate for this temporary assignment is £338.70 per shift, offering a competitive compensation package for the right candidates.

As an ODP specializing in Anaesthetics, you will play a vital role in the operating room, assisting the anaesthetist in administering anaesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures. Your responsibilities will include preparing the anaesthetic room and equipment, ensuring patient safety during the induction and maintenance of anaesthesia, and monitoring the patient's vital signs throughout the procedure.

Successful candidates must have a degree or diploma in Operating Department Practice and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Previous experience working in Anaesthetics within a hospital setting is highly desirable, as well as proficiency in using anaesthetic equipment and monitoring devices.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure are essential for this role, as you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that relies on effective teamwork and collaboration to deliver the best possible care to patients. You must also demonstrate a strong attention to detail and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient safety and care.

In addition to your clinical duties, you may also be required to assist with patient transport, stock management, and other administrative tasks as needed.
