£80,000 - £100,000 + bonus and benefits

A Global Insurer is seeking a specialist Technology Underwriter in either their Birmingham or Manchester office.

The Underwriter will inherit an existing portfolio and will be responsible for underwriting both new and renewal business. Duties will include:

• Preparing quotations


• Dealing with queries from Brokers and keeping them abreast of any underwriting decisions


• Developing and nurturing Broker relationships


• Analysing the portfolio and preparing reports for management


• Visiting Brokers and marketing products

This team is looking to attract a class specialist who has in depth knowledge of Technology risks, as well as a solid network of Technology Brokers. Negotiation and relationship skills are key to success in this role and for those who prove themselves, progression will be encouraged.
