Job overview
The East of England Neurosurgery Network (EoE NN) is hosted by Cambridge University Hospitals (CUH) and is the region’s Neurosurgery Clinical Network. It was launched in October 2023 and is a specialised service clinical network. Its triple aim is to improve quality, reduce inequalities, and to improve value of neurosurgical management across the eastern region.
Main duties of the job
As Neurosurgery Referral Case Management Coordinator, you will initially work independently to provide administration coverage of the neurosurgical registrar on-call day shift (9am-5pm), later potentially working in partnership with another Coordinator to provide full coverage of the day shift. In partnership with the on-call registrars, you will review emergent and urgent referrals to Neurosurgery through the electronic referral system (Orion). You will enter demographic data and ensure completion and upload of diagnostic tests, to coordinate case management and provide administrative support to the neurosurgical on-call team.
You will be responsible for data, decision, and outcome entry into Orion. You will also assist with publicising the Network through online platforms such as FutureNHS.
